The Funeral Service Program
一道本不卡免费高清Goodwin College’s Funeral Service program will train you to become a well-rounded industry professional, able to address funeral service processes from the initial death call through to the final disposition of human remains. This 65-credit mortuary science degree program can be completed in as few as 24 months full-time, with part-time class options available. Coursework is offered in the evenings, comprised of on-campus lecture and laboratory training, as well as internship experience in the field.
Gaining Real-World Experience
Internships are offered at funeral homes all across the state. Through your internship experience, you will gain exposure to embalming, restorative art, and business management. You are required to complete a minimum of 180 hours at your internship, participation in 10 embalming operations, as well as an additional 30 hours of on-campus class work learning about business management.

一道本不卡免费高清The mission of the Goodwin College’s Funeral Service Program is to facilitate the training of students to become funeral service professionals and to instill in our students the foundation of integrity, compassion, and moral ethics needed to be successful in our ever-changing contemporary society.
The Funeral Service Department encourages independent thinking through practical application and modern technical instruction.
The Funeral Service Department fosters the importance of community service, reverence and respect for the dead entrusted to their care, and empathy and compassion for the families they will have the privilege to serve.
Students will be encouraged and guided to adapt to secular and religious traditions while always being mindful of Public Health and cognizant of the importance of holding inviolate sacred and confidential information entrusted to them during their service to mankind.
